Wow, the first day of school is drawing closer. Time to get the school stationery ready. Complete packs are available from the school office; Thursday Jan 29 and Friday Jan 30, 8:30am - 4pm. Parents can shop instore or online via officeMax on www.myschool.co.nz just enter the required information and the appropriate stationery list wil appear. OfficeMax have missed off the junior yellow reading log. They can be ordered by searching for them on the myschool.co.nz website or simply purchase from the school office.
Tissues, we also require each family to supply the class with one box of tissues. OfficeMax have these for sale for just under $2 but we are happy to receive any brand of tissues.
School hats and caps are available to purchase from the school office. Please label hats with your child's name.
Powhiri; the official welcoming of new children and their families to St Albans School at 9:20am. Usually it rains and we need to hold the Powhiri in the school hall. We will wait and see but all families are welcome to attend.
I have a handout relating to starting school and the routines of Room 7 ready to share with families on Monday.
